My name is Tristan Fahlsing, and I currently work at Stan's Supermarket in the meat department. In the department, I debone meat and cut it small enough to fit into the grinder. From there, I mix and season it before it's ground a second time with a smaller blade. After it's all ground up, I load it into a stuffer and begin to stuff sausage casings. Once I get the sausage stuffed, I load it into the smokehouses. Finally, when it's done, I let it cool down in the cooler. When the sausage is cool enough, I then vacuum seal, weigh, price, and display the product for customer purchase. Along with the position, I have to keep the inventory stocked and put products on shelves for display on freight days.
