Tristan Park

My role as the vice chancellor of the Franklin School Site Council enhanced my ability to incorporate various opinions from the students and take action to improve my school community, which I believe will strongly benefit me in discussing and interacting with my peers in the Civic Summer. Working with the FHS Software Developers Club strengthened my teamwork skills as I not only closely collaborated with my peers but also with reputable institutions including the city of Elk Grove and the Sacramento Zoological Society. Being a member of my school track team since Freshman year helped me discover my hidden talents and allowed me to carry my aspiration on the sports onto different life goals and objectives. My background as a foreigner and familiarity with interacting with different cultures and perspectives gave me the ability to understand others more and work with them effectively.
