- Basic safety and repair procedures on PSL equipment using the iLearn competency process defined for this job role
- Basic operations to include but not limited to: (1) performing pre/post job Coil Tubing equipment inspections, (2) performing and completing preventative maintenance procedures, (3) maintaining support equipment (i.e., pumps, flowback lines etc.)
- Requisite training (essential math, essential red book, safety training, etc.) following iLearn's career development system processes
- Assist in the clean-up, repair, and preparation for a job
- Assist during the rigging up and down of service line equipment at the wellsite
- Promote safety awareness and environmental consciousness, and complies with all applicable safety and environmental procedures and regulations
- Compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) regulations and guidelines
- Promote and takes an active part in quality improvement process
- Deepwater well control while running coil in hole making sure we don’t see any pressure spikes and controlling kickbacks from occurring
- Testing well knowledge learning about well-control and how it can happen and occur and what to do in a well-control situation.
- Knowing what to do before entering a well. Having the Wellbore plan and other documents to know the depth and other knowledge we will need to know before going in blind.
- Having talks about the well in group settings and having everyone on board before opening a well
- Full on hydraulic knowledge and operation of all equipment
- Writing down things as I go during the day with time stamps to stay on top of my day to day duties and also to have them to pass down to the next crew coming on.
- Operator Asst. 2 (12 Months) 2 years total with Halliburton Coil Tubing.
