Very hardworking individual, worked 6 months on a work over rig, then have spent the last 10years on a drilling rig, worked my way up from floorhand to derrickman with hard work and dedication. I’m extremely motivated and will do anything in my power to get the task at hand done. I like to try to be the best at what I do but also wanna help my team out also, nothing beats a good team. - Responsible for the uppermost section of the drilling string as it is brought from or lowered into the wellbore or drill hole
- Responsible for oversight of some of the machinery on the rig and for the conditioning of the drilling fluid and the circulation machinery
- Responsible for submitting orders to the Tool Pusher for all pump expendables and supplies pertaining to the mud pumps and mud systems
- Responsible for working with the mud systems, monitoring weight and mixing weight properly while reporting any changes
- Spends 25% of time up in the rig derrick and plays a lead role in stacking and guiding pipe as it is tripped in and out or reconnected into the hole
