Very hardworking individual, worked 6 months on a work over rig, then have spent the last 10years on a drilling rig, worked my way up from floorhand to derrickman with hard work and dedication. I’m extremely motivated and will do anything in my power to get the task at hand done. I like to try to be the best at what I do but also wanna help my team out also, nothing beats a good team. I have been taking orders my whole life and work career and I do not mind taking them anywhere I go.

- Responsible for the uppermost section of the drilling string as it is brought from or lowered into the wellbore or drill hole
- Responsible for oversight of some of the machinery on the rig and for the conditioning of the drilling fluid and the circulation machinery
- Responsible for submitting orders to the Tool Pusher for all pump expendables and supplies pertaining to the mud pumps and mud systems
- Responsible for working with the mud systems, monitoring weight and mixing weight properly while reporting any changes
- Spends 25% of time up in the rig derrick and plays a lead role in stacking and guiding pipe as it is tripped in and out or reconnected into the hole
- Participate in Company Safety Program

- Perform maintenance and repairs on rig equipment as directed by the Driller

- Lifts, attaches, installs, and works with matting boards and associated well equipment such as rod strippers, polish rods and pumps
- Operates rod wrenches, tongs, elevators and other associated rig tools and equipment during well servicing operations
- Assists with spooling or unspooling guy lines, placing and operating hydraulic jacks, and placing of emergency and safety gear
- Maintains tubing, rod tongs and hand tools on the rig
- Unscrews or tightens pipe, casing, tubing, and pump rods, using hand and power wrenches and tongs
- Dismantles and repairs oil field machinery using hand tools and power tools
- Cleans up spills
- Keeps pipe deck and main deck areas orderly
- Reports safety hazards, accidents or maintenance issues to rig operator or supervisor
- Drives company vehicles over various types of road conditions and terrains, including highways, rural roads including paved and gravel surfaces, and off road situations including two track roads as needed
- May work in shop or yard as required
