Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with experience in inpatient, outpatient, and telehealth settings, with background in addiction and recovery services. I work to demonstrate culturally competent care and incorporate evidence-based practice into individualized treatment plans, while contributing to the organizational culture. I enjoy the challenge of developing and advancing programs that promote patient-centered care. I have a specialized interest in substance use disorder, improving accessibility to MAT, addressing life after trauma, and creating effective bridges from inpatient to outpatient services.
Providing care in an inpatient 3.7/3.5 level of care 112 bed facility, I work to treat co-occurring SUD and mental health disorders through inpatient, PHP, and IOP level of care.
Foundations is a full-spectrum outpatient practice serving a rural population through both telehealth and in-person mental health appointments. Through this practice, I provide services, part-time or on an as needed basis, to patients across the life span, including the pediatric and geriatric population.
Working on the Overdose Data to Action Grant, I worked with a team developing an integrative outreach program based on the statistics derived from Marion County’s drug related deaths and emergency department overdose cases. Through this program we developed up to date evidence-based practices for prescribing practices targeting patients with substance use disorder.
Restore: The introduction of primary residential mental healthcare in the inpatient substance use treatment setting.
