Providing care in an inpatient 3.7/3.5 level of care 112 bed facility, I work to treat co-occurring SUD and mental health disorders through inpatient, PHP, and IOP level of care.
- In January of 2023, I worked with members of our corporate team to develop the criteria for the Dual Diagnosis Pathway to implement specialized treatment for patients with co-occurring disorders. This process was then disseminated to the other 9 sites nationwide
- Provide collaboration across departments to develop patient-centered treatment plans and continuing care
- Serve on a number of committees, including Quality and Process Improvement, Emergency Management, and Safety Committee
- Facilitate medical lectures and CEU community events on various topics including medication management, MAT, therapeutic approaches, and medical interventions for co-occurring disorders

Working on the Overdose Data to Action Grant, I worked with a team developing an integrative outreach program based on the statistics derived from Marion County’s drug related deaths and emergency department overdose cases. Through this program we developed up to date evidence-based practices for prescribing practices targeting patients with substance use disorder.

- Spearheaded the creation and nationwide rollout of a comprehensive primary mental health program within an inpatient substance use treatment organization, launching the inaugural site and guiding replication at two additional centers.
