As a Derek hand on a double Kelly rig my job was to latch and rack drilling assembly collars and drill pipe in the Derek during pipe trips and connections. In between connections and pipe trips, I was in charge of keeping all mud pumps and trip tanks running the correct level, weight, and pressure during drilling operations.

It was also my job to help the driller supervise the motor hands and roughnecks as a Derek hand is second in command on rig crew, training new hire roughnecks and motor hands was also my responsibility. Moore drilling ran out of operational drilling contracts 90 days after I hired on I worked those 90 days straight through until the company stacked out rigs and shut down.

• Diagnosed and fixed, issues causing turbines to shut down unexpectedly or fail to operate correctly.

.• Have been the site representative for 5 gearbox RR’s, and 6 Generator RR’s. The last gearbox job I completed with renew energy as the contracted MCE crew we were able to complete in 3 days from prep to run ready significantly improving job time each time preformed on Seimens towers.
