Summary

My name is Triston Starling, I currently work full time as a Service Repair Technician for Professional Pool Services of Charlotte. I am also enrolled at Grand Canyon University, where I intend to obtain my Bachelor of Arts in Secondary Education in History. Beginning in 2018, I quickly found a passion in the education field when I began coaching Varsity Girls basketball at Metrolina Christian Academy. I have had a plethora of positive influences in my life stemming from coaches and educators alike. Mainly my stepfather, who has been in the education field for roughly 20 years. The Lord knows the difference that an educator who cares for his/her students can make in ones life. We all can reflect back on our own education and have someone to thank that has pushed us to be greater than we ever would have dreamed. I am a man of faith first and foremost. I believe and live by the Gospel of Jesus Christ. I feel as though the Lord has blessed me with various tools such as, leadership, determination, and resilience, that will allow myself to become a positive influence in the lives of those who I educate.
