• Develop and deliver engaging lesson plans for students in a 3rd-grade inclusion class with an 86% 3rd grade pass rate via reading FAST scores and 67% of students achieving a score a 3 or better. Math: 88% of students showed growth of at least one level from FAST PM1 to PM3 with 38% of students achieving a 3 or better (23-24 school year).
• Utilize formative and summative assessments to monitor student progress, resulting in 92% of students showing improvement in reading skills and 70% showing significant gains.
• Other classroom experience at MSAS: self contained 5th grade (3.5 years with 1 year being a hybrid of online and brick and mortar students), 4-6th grade math (2 years), 4th-6th grade reading (2 years), primary reading (1 year), Geckocare aftercare program teacher 2018-2025

Additional accomplishments:

• Partner in organizing and implementing a schoolwide RTI program and then overseeing it as IST Chair and, later, MTSS Facilitator.
• Designed and implemented a schoolwide tier 1 behavior program.
• School professional development coordinator and facilitator. Course topics created and instructed include: classroom management, behavior management, MTSS and RTI - their definition and implementation.
• Schoolwide digital parent communication lead.

• Implemented data-driven strategies for assessing student progress and adjusting instruction accordingly.
• Developed strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues to foster a supportive learning environment.

• ABE: Taught small group classes and individually tutored students on foundational skills needed for GED achievement.
• ESOL: Taught Level 1 adult ESL classes.
