Originally hired into the Invasive Imaging Department at MyMichigan, which included cardiac cath lab and interventional radiology, where I performed a variety of procedures with providers or monitored and consciously sedated patients that were undergoing these procedures. This included taking call to come in for emergent procedures during off hours. I spent 7.5 years in this position until I grew weary of taking call and sought a position in the SICU to learn open heart recovery nursing, which really grew on me, as it is awesome to see the results of your efforts.
