  • (USA startup company; 1 of 4 managers}, : While working at IWI US, a subsidiary of IWI Israel, some of my many job functions include being responsible for the implementation, training and maintenance of a world class quality management system (QMS)
  • Created the Quality Policy and Procedure Manuals that meet the requirements of the ISO 9001; 2008 & 2015 International Standard, Standard Operation Procedures (SOPs), work instructions, forms, and so on
  • The quality management system created also meets all regulatory, state, and federal laws with regards to International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR), and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (BATFE)
  • Created the entire Quality System relative but not limited to; customer focus, metrology, cosmetic, calibration, geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T), statistical process control (SPC) and so on

  • My duties were to orchestrate, implement, and oversee their ISO 9001:2000 Quality Management System
  • The Quality Policy, Procedures Manual, and Standard Operating Procedures were developed October 2007' through January 2008'
  • During this phase the ISO 9000:2000 documentation was presented to the B.I.I executive management team for review & approval
  • Companywide training for all ISO procedures started February 2008' and was completed June 2008'
  • Billet Industries, Inc. was audited by our Registrar Certification Body (KEMA Registered Quality) October 2008' and received their ISO certification November 2008'. (Certification was achieved on the first try audit attempt by Dekra)
  • Due to economical slow down, I was released Aug 31, 2009'
  • My other duties included but were not limited to; quality engineering, quality dynamics, SPC, component inspection and continuous improvement activities
