As a Break Press Operator I bend material. I have to make sure the dimensions are right. I have to make sure the angles are right and in tolerance. I also have to do a final measurement from the length to the width and make sure that the part is in tolerance. If the part is not right I have to go to the computer and adjust what needs to be adjusted to make sure that everything is still in tolerance as I make the adjustments.
As a Turret Operator I have to make sure the right tools are in the machine, I have to make sure that whatever the blueprint is asking for in each station is right and at the right angle. Then once I have done a tool change, I will put all the programs in the computer letting the computer know what size the material is length and width, I will also let the computer no what type of material it is, that can be aluminum, galvanized, or crs steel and along with that I will let the computer know the thickness of the material.
