Summary

Coach Drew and Staff,
My name is Turner Lampton and I’m from Louisville, Kentucky. I decided to come to GCU because of the amazing atmosphere within athletics and culture around the campus. I plan on majoring in Science in Sports and Entertainment Management. I have played basketball my whole life and have a deep passion for the game. I aspire to be a coach or a sports agent down the road, and if the opportunity presented itself to be a manager for your program it would be a great next step to narrowing down specifically what I want to do in the sports field. I think I would make a great manager because I am willing to do whatever is needed to help the program win. Whether that requires me to wake up at 6:00 AM to go rebound for a player, drive to the airport at midnight to pick up a recruit, or simply bring you coaches coffee throughout the day...no job is too big or too small and I’m hungry to learn. If I got this opportunity, I would make the absolute most out of it. Thank you for your time and keep me posted if you have any questions or would like to talk over the phone.

If you need an additional reference, Keith Oddo, who was a player at
The University of Louisville and currently a D1 Assistant Coach at Robert Morris University would be a great person to talk to (540-597- 9339). Also, Jared Slaughter, the Director for Oldham County Basketball Club and Associate Head Coach at Oldham County High School. You can reach him at ( 502-718-6598).
Respectfully,
Turner Lampton
