  • I operate various types of equipment, such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and tugs to safely transport materials throughout the facility.
  • Daily I load trucks and/ or flights with outgoing shipments, adhering to weight restrictions and proper stacking methods to minimize risk of damage during transit.
  • I maintain a clean and safe work environment by following and enforcing safety throughout our facility as I am one of the bunch on the QDST, ( Quality Driven Safety Team) where we hold monthly meetings discussing things such as injury percentages, OSHA violation counts, and overall how we can be more efficient and safe.

  • Daily I partake in PST checks where I will drive through our trailer lots and write down the numbers of our trailers as well as ensuring that the empty ones are in the empty lot, full in the staging lot... etc. As well as area checks within the warehouse where I verify each label to its corresponding freight and make sure it is staged in the correct area; if it isn't I'll call a forklift driver over to move it or I will hop on one myself and quickly get it to its proper area.
