  • Manage a group of five Project Controls Specialists as well as a Cost Estimating Team consisting of four Estimators and one Analyst. With the exception of two PCSs, the majority of the efforts of my team revolve around major capital growth projects.
  • Responsible for managing workloads of my direct reports and helping with career and personal growth.
  • Lead efforts to develop new project controls processes and optimize existing ones. These processes include project scheduling, cost controls, contractor risk mitigation, the estimating process as a whole.
  • Produce regular project updates to senior business leadership.

  • Worked with the Supply, Distribution, and Planning group as well as Terminal Ops personnel to identify and analyze potential projects to grow the Terminals business.
  • Conducted thorough reviews of various terminals in order to optimize assets, reduce costs, and increase the bottom line of each terminal's P&L.
  • Managed the sponsor side of the terminals scope for the Nashville Connectivity project. This was a $10MM project to provide connectivity to a third party pipeline.

  • Managed the optimization of trucking assets (trucks and drivers) for multiple fleets. This included determining what business to haul and not to haul and right sizing the fleet based on this business.
  • Managed the Profit & Loss Statement for each fleet and reviewed monthly with management in order to make sound business decisions.
  • Successfully researched and analyzed ways to keep the Robinson, IL fleet in business and profitable after losing their primary customer.
  • Assisted with the business plan to create a new Chicago/Hammond, IL fleet.
