
● Properly assist with scheduled medications to residents in accordance to DOH rules and
regulations, and facilities policy and procedure.
● Provide personalized care and services to residents.
● Ensure the residents rights to safe, prompt, and confidential treatment, at all times.
● Assist with medications according to MAR and record appropriately, making sure to
uphold resident's privacy.
● Document and file paperwork correctly and efficiently in a timely manner, case manage
issues that require follow up.
● Maintain a neat, clean, organized medication cart, medication and filing cabinets, and
medication room.
● Ensure that medication is ordered in a timely fashion and changes, hold, stop, increase,
decrease, and new orders documented, and instructions from doctors and pharmacists
are followed correctly and documented as such.
● Establish and maintain an open door policy and a high level of ongoing communication
with residents and their families.
● Ensure that residents, their families, responsible parties and/or doctors are contacted
when a change in service is needed.
● Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.
● Maintain confidentiality of resident's records.
