I am an soon-to-be Environmental Science graduate with nearly seven years of experience in sales. I have a passion for manufacturing and being a part of the corporate world. I enjoy working through difficult problems to find revolutionary and unique solutions. Much of my focus in manufacturing has been on the environment as well as a large focus in sustainability. I believe the best way to create change is to work hard and be unapologetically positive and energetic. This helped me a great deal in my sales career as I believe people are looking for positivity, energy, and a honest person. I believe I exemplify those qualities and have a deep desire to continue climbing the ladder and benefitting my company any way I can!

Sustainability and Environmental Intern

Henkel
06.2023 - Current
  • I began as a Safety, Environmental, and Health intern at the Henkel plant located in Mentor Ohio. While an intern I focused on pushing important initiatives at the site level as well as attending a number of leadership trainings during that time.
  • I am now a Sustainability and Environmental Performance intern supporting now over 30 Henkel manufacturing sites on the Adhesive Operations side of the business. I have participated in a number of management team meetings pushing important sustainability goals and ambitions to the sites in my region.
  • I will be beginning Henkel's career development program named the PRISM or CHAiNGERS program. I will be in the operations and process engineering tract working under a senior Lean Engineer at a site, along with getting my Lean Six Sigma Green Belt.
  • Finally, I was also a member of the Henkel Ambassador team that would go to various career fairs and try to recruit the next generation of interns and PRISM associates going to colleges such as Case Western Reserve University for visits!

  • I was a consultative sales agent at American Freight working full time on commission.
  • I was in the top 20 salesman nationwide for both overall sales and target KPI's such as Appliance Protection Agreements, Financing, and Furniture Protection Agreements.
  • I focused on building my book of business with various appliance focused clients, as well as working with landlords and businesses requiring product on a consistent basis.
  • Four sales associates along with our store manager were able to make our store one of the top stores in the district grossing over four million dollars per year in total sales. In a little less than three years I was over 1.8 million dollars in total sales.

  • I was an inside sales agent at National General Insurance for a bit over a year until their acquisition by Allstate Insurance.
  • For the first six weeks I was in a highly competitive sales training program where only 50% of employees who began, finished the program.
  • I was then moved onto the highest preforming team at the Cleveland site.
  • I focused in both personal and commercial auto as well as homeowners, recreational vehicles, as well as umbrella policies.

  • I began my career at Sears as a cashier and over the course of three years worked by way up to the coveted appliance salesman role
  • I was the youngest appliance salesman in the company at the time only being 18 when I started
  • I worked diligently until the Strongsville location closed permanently and was one of two associated who were offered positions at the North Olmstead location
  • I worked there until the closing of North Olmstead which was the last location for Sears in Ohio.
