Throughout my professional career I have done all kinds of interesting jobs. From car detailing, to dog grooming, to cutting 100" steel beams at 15 feet in the air, to cooking, to operating giant presses. I am willing to do anything. I love learning and am always first to a new task. I don't mind getting my hands dirty either, someones gotta do it why not me! I work fast and hard to make sure that the job is not only done, but done right.
Our main task was completing resets which consisted of reorganizing bays and adding or removing product. As well as setting shelf elevations and building displays according to planogram. Servicing is another part of the job, zoning and cleaning up bays. Customer service is another aspect of the job. We are expected to help customers regardless of which department we are currently in whether it be tools, lumber, rough plumbing, etc. Before joining MST, I worked in the paint department and was a customer service associate. Working with customers on a daily basis to create plans for their projects. At Lowe's, I became Reach Truck and Order Picker Certified.
Operated several presses, taking the product and placing them on pallets, then sending down the line for delivery. Every night we would get new hires and I was tasked with teaching them how to run the presses as well as running a small team, usually consisting between 2-3 people to hit our numbers. I was also responsible for documenting and handing off performance sheets every morning.
Standard fast food work. I was trained in both the drive thru and the front end, as well as the kitchen. Customer service was the main job. Fulfilling customer orders and delivering in a short period of time. I was from time to time asked to train new hires. A few nights I ran the store overnight by myself.
Royal Farms was some of my best work I have done. While it may not sound too thrilling, I was very efficient during my tenure. I mainly ran the "deli", which is the kitchen. While I was not a manager, I was in charge of the kitchen, leading new hires and coworkers alike through really busy and rough nights. Most of the shifts were short on staff which at in several situations saw just three employees in the entire store. But through hard work and determination we always pulled through. I did a majority of my new hire training there, doing so on a daily basis. I should also say that I was able to run registers up in the front, depositing cash at the end of the night as well as counting the registers at the end of the shift.
