I have always taken pride in putting my best foot forward, striving each day to become a better role model for myself and those around me. This commitment to excellence has been a consistent theme throughout my academic and extracurricular journey. Throughout high school, I embraced opportunities to learn and try new activities, participating in clubs, athletics, and volunteer opportunities. These include NHS, FBLA, Kinship, Student Council, Prom Committee, and E-Sports. My passion for staying active and continuously seeking self-improvement, both physically and mentally, has been a driving force in my life. This adaptability and commitment to personal growth extend beyond the classroom, as demonstrated by my involvement in football, basketball, soccer, and track. Not only did I letter every year in each sport, but I also served as a team captain in soccer and football, earning awards for my dedication and leadership. These formative experiences in high school laid the foundation for my academic pursuits. Taking college-level classes, I graduated with a cumulative GPA of 4.03 and proudly assumed the role of Valedictorian for the class of 2020. Following this achievement, I chose to further my education at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where I declared a major in Nursing. As a senior nursing student, my decision to pursue this field is deeply rooted in my innate desire to put others before myself. I am passionate about making a meaningful difference in the lives of others while contributing to the healthcare team. Comforting individuals, particularly in challenging times, has always been a source of pride for me. I find purpose in offering support during difficult situations, embodying the empathy and compassion essential to the nursing profession. My admiration for the resilience and dedication of the nurses I know has further fueled my commitment to this challenging career path. I thrive on challenges and consistently push myself to achieve greatness. I am confident that my diverse experiences, leadership skills, and unwavering dedication to personal and academic excellence will make me a valuable addition to the Nurse Extern team at UW Health University Hospital.
