The Patient Access Services (PAS) ED Registrar is responsible for the coordination of registration, authorization, and information processing requirements associated with Emergency Department
services. The ED Registrar gathers appropriate demographic, clinical and financial information in a timely and accurate manner to ensure the patient’s smooth interaction with John Muir's various
healthcare services.
Knowledge of organizational policies, procedures, systems and objectives.
- Trained in Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) general protocols with additional training specific to department as required & Security Policies and Procedures.
