  • Researched alternative methods to synthesize the hydrogel that would improve its compatibility with coating medical implants.
  • Discovered that this formulation of CMC would not be a viable material for this technology.
  • Collaborated with faculty to determine future avenues of research for this technology, including changing the antimicrobial and altering the structure of the CMC.
