- I've been trained on the bandsaw and plasma machine, cutting various types of metal, such as steel, stainless steel, copper, brass, bronze, and aluminum. They all came in many forms depending on what the customer wanted: round, square, hexagon rods; square or round tubes; or just long sheets or plates, all in different sizes and thicknesses.
- My job was to make sure it was cut at the right speed, heat, and pressure, and to ensure the exact measurement so that it met the customer's request, either on plasma or band saw.
- I've been trained in forklift driving and overhead crane operation.
- On days when I had caught up on work, or there was no work, I cleaned up around the shop and outside the building at all properties, getting rid of damaged or unsellable materials in the correct metal bins.
