Welder/Millwright/Resurfacing Lead
1 Year 7 Months- Im currently a Resurfacing lead which consist of Daily Progress Logs, JSA’s, Pre Job Meetings, Post Job Meetings. I have Experience with Microsoft Edge, Excel, Word, Power Point, Teams, & also Smartsheet.
- Utilized oxyacetylene torches for preheating metals prior to welding or bending them into desired shapes.
- Heated and dissolved metal parts to obtain molten substance used in welding or extrusion.
- Scraped off excess spatter using portable grinders and arc-cutting equipment.
- Cut, contoured and beveled metal and structural shapes to achieve accurate dimensions.
- Set up equipment and welded parts according to welding chart specifications and type.
- Followed safety guidelines through proper machine guarding and lockout and tagout procedures.
- Troubleshot problems related to welds including porosity issues caused by improper shielding gas flow rates.
