Summary

I believe that my philosophy as a teacher is as follows: lift others up, bring others together, create a shared language. This philosophy combines my two greatest skills: communication and community. My greatest technical skill is relative mastery of the ever-changing English language. This may serve as a springboard to a great many other relevant skillsets: I write novels, I edit professional copy, I craft client and colleague facing material, and the list goes on. My greatest skill of passion is that of listening well, remembering well, and applying what I learn about others to aid in the cultivation of a healthy community. I believe that people who are confident, honest, and fulfilled produce the best work, and my intentional engagement with students and clients is centered around the idea of wellness, trust, and mutual expectation.
