I started my naval career at Strike Fighter Squadron 106 "Gladiators" in 2019 as an E-1 Airman recruit. Now, as a Petty Officer Second Class and supervisor, I evaluate and perform installation of electrical and avionics components and systems on aircraft to support the Navy's mission. I promote quality and efficiency of troubleshooting processes and concepts to provide timely, quality repairs of malfunctioning systems.
I am a hard worker who can easily read and interpret blueprints, manuals and diagrams. I am focused on maintaining aircraft electrical components, working efficiently and effectively. simultaneously, I hold the position of Key management Infrastructure/ COMSEC Program Manager, which is directly led by the NSA, as well as Electrostatic Discharge Program Manager. Through my experience and consistent effort, I was awarded the Safety Pro award, Gladiator of the Month and Gladiator of the 3rd Quarter.
Military Experience
Awarded the Safety Pro of the Month of February for preventing an F-18F from crashing into a fuel truck on the flight line during flight operations using hand signals and positioning myself In front of the fuel truck. This could have led to a Class A Mishap and/or damage costing over 2.5 million dollars.
Gladiator of the Month of April, Gladiator of the Quarter (3rd) and Good conduct award at Strike Fighter Squadron VFA-106.
Awarded my Enlisted Aviation Warfare Specialist wings on the F-18E/F platform due to my required skills, experience and knowledge on such platform.
