Various tasks of outside electrical construction, including new construction, pole replacement, hardware removal and installation, and reconductoring. Meanwhile, maintaining a safe work practice. I have worked throughout various states in the Northeast throughout my career.
Distribution - rubber gloved voltages ranging from 4kv-13kv. Worked various jobs using a bucket truck, or climbing tools. Distribution work has been completed on various properties such as PPL, First Energy, Eversource, & NYSEG. Along with other properties throughout the East coast for storm restoration.
Transmission - worked on lines ranging from 69kv to 500kv while de energized. Some hot stick/barehand work done on energized 69kv. The transmission work included lattice towers, wood structures, and steel monopole structures all ranging from 55 feet to 250 feet, while working from a crane basket, bucket truck, or climbing tools and hook ladders.
WEEVE (Weekend Evening) - work consisted of second and third shift distribution maintenance for PPL. Maintenance was completed until trouble tickets were dispatched through the computer units. The trouble work consisted of no light orders, partial power orders, and switching and tagging. Switching and tagging permit holder on PPL property.
