  • Served as Cashier and Housewares associate, assisting customers with kitchen related sales and cleaning the department daily.
  • Upon my high school graduation, moved to stock room and replenishment team, restocking the sales floor and keeping the warehouse organized.
  • Promoted in 2010 to "Pack out Lead", overseeing all stock management to the sales floor dependent on what was received the day before.
  • Promoted in June, 2016 to "Receiving Lead", overseeing and scanning/recording/reviewing all incoming product.
    In November of the same year, I was promoted to "Ops Supervisor", overseeing all operations relating to Pack out. Receiving, Replenishment (filling the sales floor by department) and store maintenance (janitors and specialty cleaning)
  • Relocated to Westbury, NY as the "Seasonal & Clearance" department Supervisor in October, 2018.
    From November, 2018 to January 2019, was individually selected to close one of the company's stores. Spent 2 of 5 work days transferring out said stores product to other stores, followed by a month of breaking down company fixtures and transferring them to other stores.
  • Relocated to West Palm Beach, FL as the "Hardside Supervisor", overseeing all kitchen, closet, cleaning and furniture related departments.
  • Relocated to Delray Beach, FL, being promoted to Operations Manager in June, 2022. As Operations I Oversaw all freight, inbound and outbound, responsible for all inventory tracking, signage throughout the store, communication with third parties and vendors, and store maintenance.

Accomplishments

Productivity & Management

-Upon the closing of one of our stores, I was chosen to catalog and transfer all remaining product and fixtures. Finished to completion 2 weeks before deadline.

-Oversaw 4 store renovations, working with several third parties, temp agencies and contractors to ensure the project was done to completion within our scheduled time limit.

-Oversaw a team of 15-20 for a month while running inventory throughout several stores in the company.

-Trained, developed, and supervised employees. Created specialized schedules and checklists to give each new hire a crash course into everything they'll need to know in their position, and created follow up courses to make sure they understood and embraced their role.

Customer Relations

-Established relationships & partnered with local business owners to fulfill their company needs.

-Worked on a personal level with my customers; creating Bridal Registries, accounts for housewarmings, college "pack and holds", etc. I built a very strong report with each registrant and continue to cater to their needs, continuing to generate growth for the business.

Documentation

-While serving as Receiving Lead, reviewed all paperwork to make sure counts and sku's were accurate.

-Programmed productivity logs daily to ensure each associate was working to a timely manner.

-As Operations Manager, routinely looked at inventory reports and catalogued each and every error for billing purposes. Checked our on hands daily to find items that were incorrectly received and find items that were not showing sales to ascertain why.
