- Manage the prevention, treatment, and monitoring of complex infections and rejections leading to the top one year survival outcome in lung transplant programs in the country.

- Coordinate complex medical procedures with several disciplines for the treatment of airway conditions and complications resulting from lung transplantation.

- Responsible for coordinating the communication follow up with physicians from multiple specialties to ensure comprehensive care.

- Facilitate multidisciplinary team discussions and act as a consultant, liaison, and advocate between providers and patients.

- Lead and participate in collaborative efforts with the Cystic Fibrosis and Interventional Pulmonology service lines to ensure seamless care transitions.

- Contribute to operational changes to improve efficiency to staff workflow and patient care.

- Lead and participate in quality-of-life improvement initiatives.

Prioritize professional development activities including attendance at the International Society of Heart and Lung Transplant conference.

- Provide comprehensive care to patients in the emergency department from pediatrics to OB to geriatrics.

Trained to perform and assist in specialized treatments such as conscious sedation, cardioversion, psychological evaluation, trauma care, stroke assessment and myocardial infarction treatment.

- Provide nursing care including assessments, medication administration, and monitoring for a variety of patients’ diagnosis requiring cardiovascular care.

- Managed patients in the pre/post catheterization lab phases of care including interventional cardiology and electrophysiology service lines.

- Provide care to patients in the pre/post vascular surgery service lines including AAA repairs, carotid endarterectomy, diagnostic angiogram, amputation, and various other revascularizations procedures.
