- Joined the Mount Pleasant Volunteer Fire Department in June of this year and am currently in the volunteer academy. So far, I have passed my hazmat operations certifications and gotten my EVOC 1, 2, and 3 certifications. As of now, we are halfway through our Fire 1 portion of the academy.
