Accomplishments
Semi Automated Sever -
Designed controls system using Beckhoff Controls and Matrox Imaging for a semi automated sever arm to cut windmill sections to spec. The project included a torch height controller (PID controlled) to keep the plasma an adequate distance from the product. Along with a automated camera system to track a lined marked with UV marker to follow the cut-line. This system increased sever production by at least 50%.
