Accomplishments

2021 - Hand selected as Lead Aviation Electrician in the repair of aircraft 707 starboard electrical power distribution box after a power switching contactor failed resulting in an electrical fire. Repair consisted of re-wiring and re-routing over 400ft of electrical cable, and replacing 5 power contactor's encompassing over 250 man hours. Praised by the accuracy, detail, and timely

execution of the repair by Sikorsky Technical Representatives and their engineers. Awarded 2021 Maintenance Person of the Year.


April 2019 - Hand selected as Team Lead working beside Sikorsky Technical Representatives to correct de-ice and hydraulic discrepancies after the acceptance of a new MH-60R aircraft in which the electrical and mechanical issues had left the aircraft in a Partial Mission Capable status for over half a decade. Displaying superb technical expertise and dedicated leadership,

both discrepancies were corrected within four months of receiving the MH-60R resulting in over 200 man hours and 6 Technical Publication Maintenance Reviews earning a third Navy

and Marine Corps Achievement Medal (NAM), and a Flag Letter of Commendation from our Pacific Fleet Admiral.


September 2018- Led a specialized 5-person team through a complex troubleshooting process, correcting critical failures in the de-icing capabilities of three aircraft, successfully allowing for the on-time departure of the deployment. Received second Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal.
