  • Conducting independent research for capstone research project under the mentorship of the Principal Investigator and post-doctoral fellow in the Biocompatibility and Implant Pathology Lab at RUSH.
  • I specialize in medical imaging segmentation with a research focus on FAIS cam-type. Utilizing advanced software like 3D Slicer, I meticulously segment medical images to extract critical data for analysis. Additionally, I employ SSM to ensure the accuracy and cleanliness of the segmented data. Proficiency in biomedical imaging techniques and ability to contribute effectively to research in musculoskeletal disorders, particularly in the context of medical image analysis and data refinement.
  • Familiarity in Histology - Various laboratory techniques and methods applied for retrieving tissue samples involved cadaveric dissection, tissue fixation/clearing, tissue embedding, tissue sectioning (Leica Microtome and Crystat), and tissue staining (H&E, Picrosirius, and SafraninO).
