  • Primary Purpose: Monitor and control terminal components such as cryogenic equipment including pumps, compressors, blowers, vaporizers, unloading/loading arms and storage tanks; gas turbine generators; electrical systems; utilities systems (air, nitrogen, water sump pumps); fire protection, and hazard detection systems; and security systems. Additionally, the liqeufaction process from Feed Gas to LNG in the tanks.
  • Respond to system alarms and coordinate field activities to resolve abnormal conditions.
  • Unload/Load LNG ships in a safe, efficient and timely manner.
  • Ensure the accurate measurement of liquefied natural gas entering the terminal as well as the accurate measurement of the natural gas being delivered from the terminal to delivery points on other pipelines.
  • Work with Pipeline Gas Control to avoid and/or minimize adverse impacts on the operation of the terminal and the terminal’s customers.
  • Initiate emergency shutdown, containment actions, and emergency notifications in the event of actual or suspected product release.
  • Successfully complete all regulatory and company training and become familiar with all applicable company policies and procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with all company, local, state and federal safety and environmental regulations.
  • Serve as Company representative with outside agencies including vessel crews, Coast Guard, Customs, Agents, and customer representatives.
