  • Fulfilled work orders to cut on and cut off service.
  • Respond to emergencies, broken water mains, valves, services and fire hydrants within and after hours.
  • Set up traffic control; cones, road closed signs and flagged traffic as needed.
  • Locate leaks using specialized listening equipment and correlator leak detection equipment.
  • Isolate the incident and turn appropriate valves off to slow the flow of water.
  • Once located safely using a jackhammer and k12 saw to remove blacktop or concrete and a vactor truck to remove remaining dirt to expose the main, valve or service in question.
  • Place shoring box in hole/trench if needed.
  • Make necessary repairs to main, valve and service.
  • Preform all work safely within osha and local guidlines.
  • Drive dump trucks to unload dirt and debri and bring stone back to the job site to backfill.
  • Backfill stone and lay cold patch in the road or side walk. use a tamping machine to ensure everything is properly compacted to prevent sinkholes.

  • Preform preventative maintenance on valves with non-stainless steel bolts and replace them with stainless steel bolts.
