Global Trial Operations

• Organize kick-off and weekly meetings with 3 study vendors managing patient recruitment, travel reimbursement, and pre-screening to discuss objectives, timelines, and design of their databases
• Actively participate in the preparation of the EU CTA package for 12 countries by providing all the necessary core documents under the guidance of the global study manager
• Lead a project to register a recruitment website for a phase 3 autoimmune hemolytic anemia study through the company's internal registry system to make sure it was up to cybersecurity and legal standards

Clinical Studies Unit

• Led a project during feasibility using real world evidence to analyze if 15 hospital and community sites being considered for a phase 1 oncology study were meeting patient diversity goals set by the North American Diversity, Exclusion, and Inclusion (DE&I) team
• Collaborated with local study managers in study start-up for two phase 3 multiple sclerosis studies to document investigator contact and research experience in addition to site information in preparation for site initiation visits
• Assisted a site partnership manager in documenting site reimbursement models to support the global study team in determining patient travel and lodging needs to participate in 4 oncology cell-therapy studies
• Participated in the review of a competitive intelligence presentation with a clinical data scientist for a rare ophthalmic disease documenting disease prevalence, standard-of-care, and external benchmark studies which was presented to the global project team

• Provided medical education to neurologists about Ionis' emerging therapy to treat Alexander Disease and the risk-benefit profile of the investigational product that addresses unmet needs
• Conducted literature reviews on the current genetic testing landscape for Alexander Disease to inform patients about the testing options available to them
• Worked closely with medical strategy team on scientific communication platforms to deliver information to the field team with the goal of providing information to neurology key opinion leaders
• Assisted the New Product Commercial Strategy team with assessing unmet needs for rare neurological diseases
