- As a lumper I would unload the trucks manually from the dock. Once we got the materials off the truck we would stack them in the correct pattern on the pallet. After that we would wrap the whole pallet and label it to be put in the racks by the forklift operator. Occasionally we would do what is called d-trash where we unload the truck a take the materials off and open product boxes to still put on pallets and stack in designated patterns. After that we still label and forklift operator comes to scan it and take it to the proper location.
