Boy Scouts of America – Eagle Scout 2018

• Composed and sketch a detailed proposal for tools, food, building supplies and materials needed for my Eagle Scout project of four raised gardens, while implementing a budget for expenses.
• Gave an oral presentation before a board member for its approval.
• Conducted face-to-face solicitations for donations from various companies, commuting to different locations to secure supplies such as soil, wood, building materials and supplies, tools, food and other necessary apparatus.
• Searched, located and interviewed an Alzheimer's facility in need of raised gardens, ensuring that our projected efforts would have a meaningful impact within and on the patients’ lives and skills settings.
• Reached out to neighboring troops to enlist their volunteer support. Through effective communication and leadership, I successfully gathered a team of 20 volunteers who were eager to contribute their time and skills.
• I assumed the role of supervisor and displayed leadership by guiding and directing the team of volunteers through the process of constructing the raised gardens. Providing clear instructions and fostering a collaborative environment, as we worked together harmoniously to complete the service project.
• Served in several leadership roles such as Den Leader and Quartermaster. Achieved all four Religious Emblems, completed all 7 ranks in Cub Scouts, beginning as a Bob Cat excelling to the Arrow of Light. Crossed over to Boys Scouts completing all 7 ranks becoming an Eagle Scout. Won numerous awards and 1st place in districts annual fundraiser sales and competition. Completed over 60 badges out of 138. Volunteered hundreds of hours throughout the years in service and community projects and clean ups.
