Critical Skills Lessons Learned

QCT #1 Training - Fundamentals of Teamwork and Time Management. Beginning employment at Bridgestone Aiken PSR as a self-motivated, accelerated learner landed me in a challenging position. For my initial job assignment, I was placed with a team that would provide instruction and hands-on training for the QCT #1. This machine is vital in the tire production process because it produces a tire’s side wall rubber. Because this piece of equipment requires a 3-man team at all times to operate, training was unique. I also had to learn to work in sync with coworkers from various backgrounds while understanding the task at hand. This training also taught me the different aspects of teamwork and how important it is for every team member to contribute equally and fairly.
