Evaluating the Founder Exercise Technique: Improving Mechanics and Confidence in the Hip Hinge
Capstone Research Project - The purpose of this study is to determine if the Founder Exercise will help change how people move when they do a hip hinge by affecting things like how far apart their feet are, the angle of their feet, and how much their ankles, knees, hips, and shoulders bend. The Founder Exercise is a movement pattern intended to train individuals in executing a safe and effective hip hinge by providing verbal and physical cues while the individual engages the lower extremity muscles to bend at the waist.
