- Prepare and pour foundations for structures.
- Use shovels, hoes, rakes, and other tools to spread or level concrete.
- Install reinforcement rods in order to add strength to the structure.
- Clean up work area by disposing of debris correctly when job is completed.
- Carry heavy materials such as bricks, blocks, lumber, mortar mixers, wheelbarrows., across job sites safely.
- Set forms for pouring concrete according to blueprints or instructions from supervisor.
- Level ground prior to pouring foundation or slab with shovels or grading machines.
- Measure and mark designated areas where new slabs are going to be placed.
- Carry heavy materials such as bricks, blocks, lumber, mortar mixers.
- Loaded and unloaded necessary tools, materials and machines from trucks and trailers.
- Set up and reinforced forms to accurately pour concrete for walkways and other structures.
- Positioned wire mesh and rebar to reinforce concrete.
- Poured concrete into forms using pump hose and leveled.
- Spread, leveled and smoothed concrete using rake or shovel.
