- Introduce myself to the homeowner for a great impression and assure them they are in the best hands possible
- Turn sprinklers on to identify every location so I can then dig around them and cap all the sprinklers
- Get a productive and safe game plan to excavate but also keep the job moving forward at a good steady pace
- Using the standup bobcat, I would excavate all dirt and grass and load it into the dump truck/trailer leaving about 4” for decomposed granite to be added
- Make sure as a lead I am keeping the energy and the pace thriving by leading by example and having dump trucks coming and going as needed to eliminate any downtime
- Measured the entire jobsite to get accurate calculations to order the correct amount of DG
- Define the perimeter of the area
- 99% had some kind of edge that I would professionally install
- Raise or lower any water boxes or drains
- Most of the time I would add, extend, or relocate the drains
- Or just build them a French drain
- Skillfully place the weed barrier in the location where rock or turf will be installed
- Disburse DG to desired location and rake it all level so there can be a few pack jobs in both directions to ensure a quality pack job
- Using a plate compactor and correct applications of water on the DG for a quality pack and final flat rake over
- Identify where the seams will be and what direction blades will be facing and have the correct overlap, so the cut is not too short
- Then nail a row of 6’ nails going up and down the center of the turf so I could stretch it left to right
- Using the stretchers, I stretch and nail 6’ nails every couple of feet using a star pattern to ensure there are no wrinkles
- Line up edges to see where the final cut is going to be made to safely cut straight clean edges
- Make sure all the edges have nails to ensure a quality installation
- Then use blower to blow off any excess
- Power broom the turf going against the blades then apply as much infill as is needed to keep the blade hairs standing up and looking flawless
- Then use the blower to go beyond followed by cleanly hosing down the entire jobsite to get the most quality picture for referrals moving forward and to really stay sharp.

- Consistently walked the entire line picking up totes, pallets, cardboard boxes, yellow and grey bins, metal bins
- Grew relationships with people from every line by taking initiative and asking what they needed before it was even needed
- (Bins, totes, clean pallets, chocolate, cones, wrapping, corrugate boxes, etc.)
- Keeping the line as clean as possible to prevent injuries and keeps the momentum going to maximize profits
- Safely dumped bins accordingly
- Dry waste goes in the compactor, and the wet waste for daily pick up
- I operated a Toyota 3500 stand up forklift and was in charge and responsible for making sure all lines have everything they will need to keep the line on since most run for 24 hours
- Very proactive about making sure the Baler has everything it needs (wires, etc.) before it runs out
- Also, very aware of the beeping because often the photo eye is covered, or the high-level code stops the conveyor belt until it is reset
- I would safely use the forklift to dump the cardboard pallets onto the baler, and when the bales needed moving, I would take them to the trailers on the south end of the waste room and stack them accordingly
- Use the forklift to dump the hopper full of ice cream into 1 of 5 of the wet waste bins outside
- Safely operated the “Hoffmatic” machine to minimize the amount of waste we were dumping in wet waste bins
- I had to pull all orders in my stand-up forklift up to 5 levels high, some areas being in the –30 freezer and some pulls being in the hot room where certain chocolate is kept
- Then change every wood pallet to plastic ones
- Pull all orders and label them to desired line and place in a row until I can then use the electric pallet jack to walk the corrugates, cones, cups, wraps, mix, and other materials to the desired line
- I grew relationships with the leads of each line I was responsible for and found out if their lines were running all night so I knew how much and what to bring all shift so I would have the pallets ready
- Safely offload and take inventory on added items coming in from the trucks
- Slip the pallet from wood to plastic and then put in an open spot where the items are to be placed
- Everything has a place to be meticulously kept.

- Understand the layout of the plans by looking at the blueprints and plans before laying out the feet
- Find the rafters and double check by drilling to assure you are drilling in wood
- Depending on the roof I may have to shave some of the tiles to fit the feet
- I would securely place the feet and I would then apply caulking, meshing, and mastic for flashing inspection
- Layout the rails accordingly and secure them to the feet so I could then lay out where my boxes, ground, attic run, vents to be moved, and micro inverters need to be placed or rerouted
- Secure all Micros, ground, boxes to the rail not in proper place so it will not affect me when we slam panels
- Wire management with wire clips or neatly with zip ties with no sags
- Pull tags on all micros for monitoring
- Make a safe plan for somebody up top and down bottom to safely lift all panels needed to stage for installation
- Have all end bolts and mid clamps ready on each micro for a fast easy panel installation
- After layout is completed, I would then cut the rails and put a cap on for the cleanest installation possible
- Some jobs would need a panel upgrade so I would assist electrician and do stucco patches and painting conduit as needed to match the color of the house
- Same with the ground rods I slam in
- Then apply armor clad to run to water, gas, and panel
- If it were a ground mount the wire pull would be longer, and we would have to auger holes and have posts to set, and concrete added before we level the posts.
