I was born and raised in Taiwan and came to the US for postgraduate studies in anthropology and culinary arts. Since then, I have lived and worked in three country (US, China, Indonesia) and five cities (Washington DC, Hong Kong, Shanghai, Chengdu, Jakarta). My cross-cultural, cross-disciplinary and multi-lingual background gave me the competitive advantage to communicate with a wide-ranging audience. I am particularly adept at narrating and analyzing food-related topics, both in terms of their technical and cultural complexities, across the East-West divide.
