Secure Group-based File Sharing Application (Applied Cryptography and Network Security)

• Used three main components: a group server, multiple file servers and multiple clients
• Designed multiple cryptographic mechanisms to protect against security threats from malicious clients or servers
• Implemented protocols like the Diffie-Hellman key exchange protocol and the Handshake protocol

Big Data Processing Toolbox (Introduction to Cloud Computing)

• Used microservice-based application that allows the user to run Apache Hadoop, Spark, Jupyter Notebook, SonarQube and SonarScanner without having to install them
• Hosted all applications on separate docker containers which were deployed to the Kubernetes cluster
• Deployed the Kubernetes cluster to the Google Cloud Platform where the applications were run

Classifying Genre using Song Lyrics (Introduction to Deep Learning)

• Used Deep Learning techniques like Recursive Neural Networks (RNN), Long Short Term Memory (LSTM), Bidirectional Encoder Representations from Transformers (BERT), and Embeddings from Language Models (ELMO) to predict the genre of the song
• Results indicated LSTM to have the highest accuracy for our task

Keyboard Piano (Computer Organization and Assembly Language)

• Developed a program in assembly that allows users to play the piano using the computer keyboard
• Implemented features to record what the user plays and to replay it back to them

Compressing and Expanding Files (Algorithm Implementation)

• Developed a program in Java that can compress and expand files using the LZW compression algorithm
• Used the ternary search trie (TST) data structure for maintaining the codebook

Search Engine (Algorithm Implementation)

• Developed a program in Java that autocompletes words when the user enters a prefix using a De la Briandais Trie
• Designed to remember previously typed words and present them first when the same prefix is entered again

• Animal Angels Foundation works towards helping mentally challenged children through animal-assisted therapy.
• Worked with children suffering from mental illness like autism spectrum disorder (ASD), attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), and Down syndrome, hearing and speech impairment, and other developmental disabilities.
• Attended weekly sessions with these children where I helped them divert their attention to the animals and encouraged them to interact with each other
