Typical Duties

• Customer Interaction: Greeting customers, explaining services, and helping with purchases or memberships.
• Equipment Operation: Safely operating the car wash tunnel, vacuums, and other machinery.
• Vehicle Guidance: Directing vehicles to the appropriate spots on the lot for washing or detailing.
• Site Maintenance: Ensuring the lot and equipment are clean and functioning properly.

• Operating machinery: Assisting experienced machinists in running both manual and CNC (Computer Numerically Controlled) machines, such as lathes, grinders, and mills.
• Inspecting parts: Measuring and examining finished components to verify they meet precise specifications and tolerances.
• Reading blueprints: Interpreting technical documents and engineering drawings to understand the dimensional and tolerance requirements of the parts being created.
• Following safety protocols: Adhering to all workplace safety rules and maintaining a clean and organized work area, as is standard practice in a machine shop.
• Basic tasks: Performing fundamental machining tasks, such as deburring parts and assisting with material handling and machine setups.
• Learning and documentation: Taking on increasing levels of responsibility as skills improve and maintaining a log of completed tasks.
