United States Army National Guard
Combat Medic
As a Combat Medic in the National Guard, I delivered emergency medical care and trauma treatment in both simulated combat and field environments. I assessed and managed a wide range of injuries, performed rapid triage to prioritize care based on severity, and administered lifesaving first aid while stabilizing patients for evacuation to higher levels of medical care.
I operated effectively under high-pressure, hazardous conditions, ensuring fast and accurate medical response when it mattered most. My responsibilities also included coordinating medical evacuations, maintaining and restocking critical medical supplies, and supporting overall battlefield medical operations.
Through extensive training and real-world experience in wound care, CPR, trauma management, and psychological support, I developed strong critical thinking, decisive problem-solving, and teamwork skills essential for success in fast-paced, demanding environments.
