As a shipping outbound lead, my responsibilities are to make sure that orders are fulfilled and shipments are loaded with good quality. I am in charge of our truck load side and our LTL side for our department. Always making sure that we are picking the amount of the orders that were dropped and allocated for the customer’s needs and requirements. I work side by side with our traffic team, making sure that we don't lose any pickups or any live loads that show up to pick up customer orders. I assign tasks and work them out with my team, and we come up with a game plan to ensure that we are successful in meeting our goals and daily tasks. As a shipping lead, I am also a part of the safety committee, making sure that we are working in a safe environment. I train new leads and new associates on processes and safety as they arrive. I am also in charge of our auditing team, making sure that we are auditing to a 100% good quality for customer needs.

As a production lead, I had to make sure that all the inventory for the production lines, all the cartons, units, and products are accounted for. I was in charge of four production lines, making sure that the units are clean and have good quality before packing them into their proper boxes that fit the units inside. We have a production goal that we have to meet every day, throughout the week, and our monthly goal.
