Duties:

• Worked in various patient care areas, to include: Step down floor, Covid Unit, Observation Unit, Cardiac, Neuro, Medical/Telemetry, Surgical, Inpatient Psych, ED admissions, and Rehabilitation Unit to provide direct patient care to hospitalized adults with acute illness and urgent/emergent immediate health concerns, along with chronic medical conditions, to determine the best short- and long-term treatment options.

• Ordered and interpreted diagnostic tests and lab work to inform patient care decisions.
• Collaborated with physicians to coordinate optimal patient care outcomes.
• Monitored diet, physical activity, behaviors and other patient factors to assess conditions and adjust treatment plans.
• Prescribed medications based on patient needs and current clinical standards of care.
• Reviewed lab results and imaging studies to make accurate diagnoses and develop treatment plans.
