Valerie Castellanos

I have a diverse background led by passion for education, leadership, and creativity. I’m currently in my second year of college, studying elementary teacher education, and I plan to transfer to CSUN or Cal Poly in Fall 2025 to major in liberal studies. After earning my degree, I want to get my teaching credential in special education and eventually a master’s in education. I’m also interested in biology and hope to go back to school for that later. At Oxnard College, I’m involved in the Associated Student Government where I’ve helped organize events like the Wellness Fair and S’mores Under The Stars. I also run the ASG Instagram account. Outside of school, I enjoy coloring, cooking, and playing games like The Sims 4 and Animal Crossing. I love history and biology, and the goal is to make a positive impact as a teacher.
