Supports the overall operation of the surgery department including procedure room preparation, patient transportation, and ensuring cleanliness of the facilities

Oversees for the inventory process, ensuring facilities are well-stocked and orders additional supplies as necessary

Responsible for the maintenance and availability of equipment used in procedures in the Operating Room on a daily basis

Adheres to all local/state/federal regulations, codes, policies and procedures to ensure privacy and safety to help deliver optimal patient care

May also be responsible for performing specific procedures and/or orient other staff to the department

Ability to interpret a variety of data and instructions, furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form
