DAISY AWARD- 10/25

I was truly honored and deeply touched, when presented the DAISY AWARD!! I was represented a plaque and this letter.

In Same Day Surgery, excellence is measured not by clinical skill, but by the heart and compassion we bring to our patients- and this nurse embodies both in the most remarkable way. She has a gift for making patients feel safe, seen, and cared for from the moment they walk through the doors. Her gentle reassurance and warm smile calms even the most anxious patients, and it's not uncommon to hear them express how grateful they are for the comfort she provides.

Her dedication goes far beyond the routine of pre- and post-operative care- she anticipates needs before

they're spoken, advocates fiercely for every patient, and treats each person with dignity and respect. Her clinical expertise is

complemented by an unwavering commitment to patient safety and teamwork, as she seamlessly collaborates with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and fellow nurses to ensure every case run smoothly. She doesn't simply take care of patients; she makes

them feel like family. Her positivity uplifts everyone around her, and her presence has a ripple effect that inspires her team to rise to the same level of compassionate excellence.

She is more than a nurse- she is a healer, a comforter, and a shining light for both her patients and her colleagues. She is the kind of nurse we all aspire to be, and we are proud to honor Val Vogel with The DAISY Award for extraordinary nurses.
