  • Work with the local established Coalition, West Fel Prevention Coalition, to recruit and maintain members as needed,
  • Organize various subcommittees, provide agenda items for the meeting schedule and help to conduct the activities of the Coalition to meet the requirements of the Louisiana Partnership for Success (LaPFS) Grant Program.
  • Responsibility further includes working with the Council, Executive Assistance and the Coalition Coordinator to engage community sectors that will support efforts to reduce underage drinking and prescription drug misuse/abuse.
  • Works closely with the current Executive Director, Executive Assistance and the Board to engage community stakeholders including but not limited to local governing agencies such as Mayors and Town Council, Parish Police Jury, and Local School Board Members as needed.
  • Works also to include local universities, business leaders, faith-based leaders, and civic groups in the activities supported by the Coalition.
